Many modern vehicles require specialist CAN BUS wiring looms for the towbar that allow the vehicle to know when a load is connected to the rear of the vehicle and the vehcile will operate safety controls such as ESC (Electronic Stabilty Control), vehicle sway control and other safety functions accordingly.
Most looms install in a matter of minutes to the factory fittings in the vehicle.

Always check with your towbar installer that they are using the correct loom and NOT a 'bypass' system that could possibly void your vehicle warranty and, even worse, put your safety at risk.
