ACCESSORY INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

We are looking for an energetic people to join our team as a hands-on accessory installers to join our install team.

We need installers for our UTE Accessory team , and also our TRUCK Accessory team

Airplex installs a wide range of vehicle accessories for all types of vehicles. Operating in Auckland and distributing nationwide, we service a wide group of customers including fleet operators, motor vehicle dealerships and retail customers.

We are now looking for a practical hands on person to join our Ute & 4x4  Installtion team with continual on the job training and development.

Typical accessory installations include, ute canopies, hard lids, liners, towbars, sports bars, nudge bar, winch bars, roof racks, flares, and whole lot more!

Truck installations include exterior sunvisors, stonegyards, aerodynamic kits.  Working on and off site with major NZ truck brands.

Key skills will include;

- MUST have practical automotive knowledge and experience
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, with a good attitude towards work
- Current full drivers licence (not esential but would be an advantage)
- Team player willing to help out in other areas of the business as required
- Good communication skills
- Able to self manage daily and follow instructions to complete tasks
- Able to manage your own time to meet work vehicle deadlines
- Liaise with factory management on product fitment and some product development
- Moderate heavy lifting is involved and sometimes required to climb under vehicles so applicant would need to be reasonably physically fit

The position is based at Otahuhu Auckland and an immediate start is available.
