TUB LOAD BRACKET (J-BRACE)

Description

It is a requirement by Ford NZ and VW NZ that all Rangers and Amaroks (2022 onward) fitted with any accessory or load bearing accessory that will excess the maximum allowed weight for the tub, must have the 'load box reinforcement bracket' (J-Brace) system installed.
This can be supplied and installed at your Ford or VW dealer.
At the time of writing, the listed part numbers from Ford Motor Company are: VN1WJ27726A for the Ford Ranger and VN1WZ2627726B for the Ford Raptor.
These brackets have been developed by Ford to brace the tray floor to the tray wall. We strongly recommend that the J-Braces are used when installing a canopy to a Next-Gen Ford Ranger/Raptor and VW Amarok as per Ford/VW Motor Company's requirements.

Note:
These brackets have been developed to brace the floor to the wall of the tub for some vehicles to ensure durable performance of the tub is maintained with the installation of certain canopies supplied by Airplex.
These may or may not be suitable for installation when installing other manufacturers products to the tub.
