WIRING LOOM DRIVING LIGHT PATCH - HIGH BEAM Next-Gen Ranger/Everest

Description

This specifically designed patch harness is for the Next-Gen Ranger & Everest and allows for simple and safe integration into the vehicle's headlight assembly without cutting or splicing into the electrical system.

Provides high beam positive, high beam negative, and low beam pickup points for a range of driving lights wiring harnesses.

This patch harness is to be used with a range of wiring harnesses and factory-style switches for a true plug & play solution, enabling simple DIY installation of auxiliary driving lights and switches.

Instructions:
This patch harness has been made to integrate into the existing factory sixteen pin headlight connector that is located on the lower back of the vehicle's headlight assemblies. It uses the recommended connection point as highlighted in the Body and Equipment Mounting Manual.

Remove the existing factory sixteen pin headlight connector from the back of the passenger side light, there is a locking tab that must be depressed before removing the connector.
Fit the corresponding new connector to the connector that has just been removed until it clicks into place.
Fit the remaining new connector to the original connector affixed to the headlight assembly until it clicks into place.

Wiring:
Red wire (12V) is from the vehicles high beam circuit used to trigger a relay for auxiliary lights.
Green wire is from the vehicles negative circuit.
These wires connect directly to a select range of Lightforce wiring harnesses.

Compatibility:
The Next Generation Ford Ranger & Everest have three headlight types which relate to the vehicle's trim level. Using the tables provided, select the correct installation method for your vehicle.

RANGER MODEL:
TRIM LEVEL XL, XLS = Level 1
XLT, SPORT, WILDTRACK, SUPER DUTY = Level 2
WILDTRACK X, PLATINUM, RAPTOR = Level 3

EVEREST MODEL:
TRIM LEVEL AMBIENTE, TREND, SPORT, WILDTRACK = Level 2
PLATINUM = Not Compatible (does not fit)

Patch Harness Wiring - Level 1:
Red - High Beam Positive
Orange - Not Used
Green - High Beam Negative
Blue - Low Beam 12v Positive

Patch Harness Wiring - Level 2:
Red - High Beam Positive (in passenger footwell)
Orange - Not Used
Green - High Beam Negative
Blue - Low Beam 12v Positive

Patch Harness Wiring - Level 3:
Red - Not used
Orange - High Beam Positive
Green - High Beam Negative
Blue - Low Beam 12v Positive
